This is the home page of Jonathan Harker, large Kiwi at large abroad! Being named after a fictional character while somewhat cool is entirely coincidental. If you ended up here looking for stuff about the Dracula novel, go here for a good site.

This is a place where I put up my latest rolls of film, provide loads of links to things I'm interested in, keep an online CV and post things for the benefit of those who have the dubious pleasure of knowing me.

26 July 2002: It's my birthday tomorrow, so send me lots of presents! Also, see if Jon is available to chat with his Chat page.

15 July 2002: Coming up to a week in London now. It's been (mostly) really sunny and warm so far. Went to Ronny Scott's Jazz Club in Soho to see the Woody Herman Big Band last week, which was entirely excellent. On Saturday I went to Brighton Beach with Steve and flatmates to see Fat Boy Slim. I've also managed to magic a season ticket to the BBC Proms, including the inextinguishable English buffoonery that is The Last Night. Should be a hoot. Most of the concerts are broadcast on the teev or the radio, but it is so much better live. Highlights include Debussy Le Mer and Iberia, Sibelius 5, Mahler 3 and 8, Schoenberg's Gurrelieder, Respighi Pines of Rome, Durufle Requiem, and Musorgsky's much under-rated opera Boris Goudanov.

1 June 2002: I've just got back from Tim's wedding in Canada with four rolls of brand new photos to embarrass everybody with! You know who you are, be afraid. Additionally, since I haven't updated this for ages, there's two more rolls of less recent stuff too. Check out the photos page.

25 October 2001: I've been fiddling with PHP and MySQL, and I have a test page here.

This site is hand-coded using Arachnophilia, a great free careware HTML editor. More recently I've also been editing it in Quanta for Linux and jEdit.
