Tramping
A keen amateur, I'm also into photography, natural history and geology.

I am passionate about many of the world's cuisines. I also make a mean eggs on toast.
Computers
Mostly self taught, starting at the age of twelve by crashing Dad's IBM XT and programming arcade games on a school BBC Micro. For fun I now read very thick, sparsely illustrated books about Linux and C++.
